Ghana Home for “Throwaways” is an ongoing ministry of Face to Face Charismatic Communities, providing support for the Home for Undesirables and Orphans in Takoradi, Ghana, West Africa.
In Ghana, many still live within the security of their tribes. This lifestyle provides housing, clothing and food, as well as an active community life. Sadly, many tribes are still influenced by traditional ways of thinking. All too often, when tragedy strikes, or there is misfortune, the tribe will place blame on an individual, calling them cursed. These unfortunate individuals are cast out of the tribe as Undesirables. Outcast, with no resources, these individuals cannot find a place among any tribe because of their label.
Jude Muessey is a man whose heart was stirred with compassion, pity and love for these outcasts. At some risk to himself, Jude opened the doors of his home to these outcasts. He provides not only shelfer, food and clothing, he also ensures these people are educated as well. As a man of faith, Jude has relied upon God to provide for the needs of his special community.
Face to Face Charismatic Communities provides ongoing support for Jude and his ministry. The Home currently provides for for over thirty-five individuals. With your help, the home will continue to provide a future full of hope for these individuals.
How You Can Help:
- Pray – Jude is a man of prayer and relies upon God every day. Prayer support for his work is vital.
- Become a partner – it is difficult and expensive to send goods to Ghana. The best means of support is through monthly support or one-time donations. These resources, because of the favorable exchange rate, go a long way in providing for the basic needs of the home. Just $350 each month is all that is needed to provide for the most basic needs of the home. Additional funds provide for ongoing education and college as well.
